Sarah Howard is a bilingual singer-songwriter based in Ottawa, Ontario. Telling tales of love, loss, and travel, Sarah writes classic folk songs, delivered with a subtly jazz-like vocal style. In 2018, she completed an Honours Bachelor of Music at Carleton University, during which she was mentored by Juno winner Lynn Miles. In 2017 and 2018, Sarah was selected as a Musik Ottawa finalist, and performed at events such as Remixed 2017, Girls to the Front at Irene’s Pub, and the Ottawa Grassroots Festival. On September 21st, 2018 she is releasing her début EP, NIAGARA, a journey into the mapping of trauma onto landscapes and the bittersweet relationship we all have with home.
